The postman has delivered me a strange combination of cheap goodies today. Coloured plastic tape, sequins, sparkly tape, coloured beads and nail varnish. It is all a bit like being back at school really, apart from the nail varnish.
What do I want with these, just preparation for what will probably be a winter project but I thought that I'd get them ready in advance in case there is a dull wet evening. I want to try to improve my knot-tying skills by making a few mackerel fishing rigs myself rather than continuing to buy them.
I can't see it actually saving a great deal as they are cheap to buy pre-made but it does seem like an interesting challenge.
